Refund, Alteration & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all orders placed through the Nashala website and mobile application. Nashala is a women’s tailoring and custom clothing brand offering made‑to‑order, customized outfits. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms mentioned below.
1. Nature of Our Products
All Nashala products are custom-made and tailored specifically for each customer based on provided measurements, design selections, fabric choices, and customization requests. Because of this personalized nature, our refund policy is different from ready‑made or mass‑produced items.
2. Order Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be provided only in cases where the customer contacts Nashala via call and shares clear video proof, and our team verifies that the fabric is torn or damaged due to a manufacturing or tailoring defect.
📌 Important Conditions:
The issue must be reported immediately after delivery.
The customer must share a proper video showing the damage clearly.
Refund approval is subject to verification by Nashala’s quality team.
🚫 No refunds will be provided after stitching has started or completed, as:
All outfits are custom-stitched and made to order
Once stitching begins, work, time, and resources have already been utilized
Order cancellation after stitching is not eligible for refund under any circumstances
Refunds will not be provided for:
Cancellation after stitching
Incorrect size due to customer-provided measurements
Design preference issues
Color variation (minor differences due to lighting or screen display)
Change of mind after order confirmation
3. Payment Gateway Charges (Razorpay)
All payments are processed through Razorpay.
In case of an approved refund:
A 4% payment gateway charge will be deducted from the refund amount.
2% charged by Razorpay at the time of order
2% charged by Razorpay at the time of refund
💡 Example:
If your order value is ₹1000, a total of ₹40 (4%) will be deducted, and ₹960 will be refunded.
If no refund is requested or processed, Nashala bears the payment gateway charges.
4. Alteration Policy
Nashala provides a one-time free alteration on eligible orders.
Alteration terms:
Alteration requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery.
Only minor alterations are covered (as assessed by our team).
The customer may need to ship the outfit back; shipping terms will be communicated individually.
Free alteration is applicable only once per order.
Appointments & Home Visits
For home measurements, consultations, or designer visits:
If the customer cancels the appointment within 24 hours, the booking fee (if any) is non-refundable.
If the appointment is cancelled by Nashala, a full refund of the booking fee will be issued.
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout.
